Tickets ARE a big deal for the Professional Driver!  Some tickets [Major Offenses] result in Driver Disqualification, and all moving offenses impact insurance, SAFER Scores, reputation, and can cause the loss of a job or runs. ALL tickets are reported on CDLIS, which many police and prosecutors don't understand. Protecting your license is critical for all CDL Operators. 

Yes. Having an experienced attorney on your side can make all the difference. Traffic signs must be placed in accordance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices, and Drivers have the right to travel to points of loading, unloading, and fuel, food, rest, and repairs. Overweight tickets cost thousands, and unpaid tickets will result in the suspension of your CDL. In Illinois, drivers have the right to remove weight if overweight on axle [625 ILCS 5/15-112(d)] and all weighting procedures must comply with approved standards.

The most serious thing for any driver is a fatal or significant crash. In 2015, 4,311 large trucks and buses were involved in fatal crashes, an 8-percent increase from 2014. One of the major causes of fatal crashes is fatigue, and the FMCSA has passed new rules prohibiting driver coercion [§390.6]. These rules prohibit a motor carrier, shipper, receiver, or transportation intermediary, from coercing a driver to violate safety rules. No load is worth a serious accident, if you have been involved in a serious crash you need legal help.

What does it cost to hire your firm? It really depends on the case, and the nature of the violation. But we generally charge $300-$500, and we accept all major credit cards.
